Harbur Park and Leisure Homes has been working with CSR Digital since October 2022. Here, Finance Director Carl Medlin talks about his company’s evolving and changing needs and how CSR Digital has played a key role in their growth.

Working with CSR Digital
Our relationship with CSR Digital began with a brief enquiry email back in 2022 – we were on the lookout for printers and print. We were so impressed with the service, we quickly decided to step up and get help with our IT.
We asked CSR Digital how they could best support our growing business and CSR Digital’s IT Director Vince patiently got to know us, understand our business and carefully designed us the right IT solution, providing us with first class service from day one.
The needs of a growing company
Our company needs have changed over time
In terms of print, our business went from a couple of inkjet desktop printers that served us all, from printing our A4 invoices to A3 customer drawings. It was expensive and unreliable, so as we grew in scope we needed something consistent, cost effective, and of high quality.
As we have expanded, we have switched to an electronic records system, so despite the quantity of print decreasing significantly, the support has never changed and we are treated exceptionally. CSR Digital added a third printer as we’ve geographically increased, and the same excellent service from inquiry to installation remains.
Our IT and comms have also evolved. We began as an office of five people, who were using the G Suite tools. We’re now a team of 35 so we need to work seamlessly and in harmony with one another, on one reliable system across a number of offices.
Support across a range of services
CSR Digital’s implementation was huge in scope, and near minimum in impact to implement. We now have a professional, secure and easy to use system that works wherever we decide to work.
We signed up to an external telecoms company, and CSR Digital also helped us manage and install the hardware on the IT system, which wasn’t as simple as plugging it in and leaving us to it.
A partner that guides and supports
As we grew, so did our base of operations and we introduced hybrid working as a trial for some members of our staff. This means security has become increasingly important, but we didn’t want the interruption of implementing a big scale security system.
So, CSR Digital have worked in the background to ensure that the systems and processes are always fit for our evolving purpose, and their guidance has shaped the IT system we have today.
